Micro Loan Application

So you have a project in mind but the upfront cost is stopping you from realizing your dream?  This micro loan may be just right for you! Please read below to see if you qualify and follow the application process closely.

Qualifications: 

Does your project increase global sustainability?

RISE Now believes it is little things by responsible individuals that will add up to make a global shift towards living sustainably. Even small projects can make an impact. 

Will you be able to pay back the loan?

Will your project provide you savings or generate some sort of income over the future?  This is an interest-free loan, not a grant.  Every time a recipient repays a loan it allows us to give out a new one.  In this way we can all work together to further sustainability.  


Application process:

The Micro Loan program has rolling admissions and a recipient is selected every November by the board of directors selection committee. Please write us a full, succinct description of your project including:

-What is the project all about? Be sure to specify where, what, why, who, when, how. 
-How do you believe it will increase sustainability?
-Budget
-How much funding do you need?
-Do you have other funding sources?
-When do you estimate you would be able to repay the loan and how?
-Add any additional information you think the selection committee should review. Keep in mind we have many applications to sort through so superfluous attachments will only distract us from what is important in your application.
-Finally if you are related in any way to anyone that works for, advises, or funds RISE Now you must let us know.  It will not make you ineligible in any way, we just want to make sure we are being fair.
